Find a helper, make a cup of tea, and prepare yourself. There are a lot of measurements because a bodysuit has to cover a lot of curves!
You cannot take accurate measurements by yourself. Wear a bra, tights, and a form fitting tank top. Take the horizontal measurements with a flexible tape and the vertical measurements with a ruler or yardstick from the front center. The "front" measurements are taken from side seam to side seam. (Wearing a shirt with seams that line up with your sides is helpful!)
Start by tying a ribbon around your waist. When wearing a corset, this is the smallest point in the squishy bit between the bottom of your ribcage and your hips. Try bending from side to side if you can’t find it.
The high hip is located at the hipbone. The low hip is around the widest part of the hips and booty.
The rise is very important for bodysuits and is taken with a flexible ruler from the front waist to the back waist. Use a little piece of tape or a clip to mark the center crotch… your helper will be getting personal.
Bunny Suits are drafted to close in the back and a small waist reduction. Please leave any additional notes about basic customization. Thank you so much!
